Who is Dr. Charles A. Proshek?
Dr. Charles A. Proshek (or better known as Dr. Charlie) was born and raised in Minnesota and as soon as the good Lord gave him some sense, he moved to Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1994. After graduation, he worked in both small and large animal practices before he settled in Garland, Texas. He opened Kingsbridge Animal Clinic on Valentine's Day in 2005. Dr. Charlie has three wonderful children, Will, Emma, Laura and three beautiful grandchildren. He has two dogs: Beau, a Labrador-Pointer mix and Brother, a Labrador-Beagle mix. In 2010, at three months old Beau was surrendered to Kingsbridge Animal Clinic by his owner and it didn't take long for him to end up at home with Dr. Charlie. New Years day in 2014, Brother was found wandering in the backwoods of Louisiana covered in fleas, ticks and dirt. He was malnourished and we soon learned he was heartworm positive. He quickly won over Dr. Charlie's heart and was given a forever home where he got all the care and love he needed. He earned the name "Brother" because he just so happens to look like an exact mini version of Beau! Dr. Charles Proshek is best known for being a patient doctor and the care that he gives to all his patients.
